Eveleigh Artisan Markets Eveleigh Market is championing little and big Ozzies to get out and discover their inner creative talent and the talent in their neighborhood for gift giving this Christmas, making it an Australian Made Christmas.Eveleigh Artisans’ Market will be hosting an Australian Made Christmas on Sunday 6th December from 10am to 3pm where kids and parents will be able to make their own Christmas ‘Bling’, wrappings, decorations and much more.
Eveleigh Market Manager Ariana Aljinovic said learning to hand make some special Christmas creations to give your gifts that individual touch makes that Christmas spirit shine even more.
“Christmas time is the perfect opportunity for kids and parents to find their inner creative self and learn some DIY skills together,” Ariana said. “In addition to being good for the environment, self-made Chrissie items and ones bought from a local artist warms the heart better than any gift bought off the shelf at the big department stores.”
Workshops at the Australian Made Christmas will offer than chance to make recycled material baubles, wrapping paper, cards and other Christmas inspired creations that can be taken home for some festive season styling. The main workshops will be run by some of the stallholders and other creative sessions will be held throughout the day.
In addition over 70 stalls will be showcasing the best in Australian independent design, art and crafts under the heritage listed Blacksmith Workshop. Here you will be able to find original and authentic creations in the fields of art, pottery, sculpture, sustainable design, fashion, jewellery, accessories, home wares, furniture, children’s clothes, toys and more. These goods are Australian made and another opportunity to keep it local when buying up this Christmas.
