Australia’s favourite craft event, the Craft & Quilt Fair is returning in 2009 to the Adelaide Showground, November 5 – 8. In addition to great displays, fantastic shopping opportunities and non-stop classes and workshops; the Fair will bring with it a special guest artist as well as new attractions and features.
Plus you’ll be able to see the Festival of Quilts 2009 exhibition which is presented by The Quilters Guild of South Australia.
Aspiring and experienced designers will love EXOTICA. Presented by ATASDA (Australian Textile Arts & Surface Design Association Inc), the original and unique handmade textile artworks of EXOTICA will amaze you.
The Adelaide Craft & Quilt fair is also an opportunity to meet special guest artist, renowned felt artist and teacher, Wendy Bailye. A display of her work, ranging from wearable arts and decorator items to large framed felt artworks, will be at the fair for visitors to enjoy.
For the cost of admission, visitors will have access not only to the Craft & Quilt Fair, but to the Adelaide Bead Fair – a boutique show, dedicated to beads. Buy the latest beads and tools, be inspired by special displays and learn the latest techniques in Make & Take Classes.
