Using a rubber scrubber, sand the plate all over to remove imperfections including the seam lines. Once sanded, wipe over the plate with a damp sponge to remove excess dust. Trace the design by placing the clay carbon on the greenware, then position the pattern on top and then trace over the design with a pencil.
Step Two
Using Black French dimension outline all the iris design. Work quickly to get thinner lines.
TIP: Flip off the nib on top of the French Dimensions bottle and then stir the contents inside with a thin paint brush handle to get a smooth paste.
